  1. It would be nice to have him if we can make it work. It would be OK if we can’t make it work. Receiver isn’t a need at this point, but this year might be a year where if we want to beat the good teams we are going to have to score a lot of points, which Davante would help in.

With all the injuries on defense that we have right now, it’s clear we can’t rely heavy on the defense like we have in years past. This year is a year where we will need to score 30+ when we are also giving up 30+.

  2. Bringing in a big veteran WR would help Coleman tremendously. Realistically, the Bills were projected to have a down season with all the losses on both sides of the ball. We got off to a good start scheming around our weaknesses but teams will catch up and we need good players to consistently make good plays. I’d be okay with Adams or seeing what’s available next year.

  3. Translation: Davante Adams’ agent is reportedly happy to confirm trade rumors to drive up the cost of his player.

  4. I would be over the moon to have talent like Davante Adams on this team.

I just… I don’t see how it’s possible we can afford him in any reality. We can’t afford his cap hit. We’d have to bump up the return to a 1st rounder or a good player to get LV to eat salary, which is way too much for a 32 year old receiver when we also have MAJOR defensive holes that need filling.

And, like others have said – I feel like this is all a ploy to get back together with Aaron Rogers.

  5. I don’t see how any of this works unless the raiders agree to pay the vast majority of his salary for the picks they get. Mark Davis is not known for such things. Ain’t he one of the “cheap” owners? If somehow beane gives up a second and some other lower picks and mark does agree to mostly pay Davante ? Then this becomes pretty low risk for 1.5 years. But I ain’t holding my breath.

  6. As talented as I think he is he wouldn’t do well here with the fan base. We hated the distraction Diggs became. And when he ain’t happy he’s the same way. I would love to have him here but I don’t think it’ll happen. 10 is working great for us and 0 is only 4 true games in

  7. The Bills are the better team with a better QB. He’s not getting paid more money. Give them a 3rd and let effing go! Go Bills.

  8. I legitimately don’t want him…our trouble last week wasn’t a receiving one it was defensive so to get another cap eating star wideout when we just got rid of Diggs for these same reasons (major cap/forcing throws/attitude issues) sure he’d be a great pickup at a low cost but those other issues outweigh the pros at the moment

  9. Aside from figuring out the cap, don’t see why we wouldn’t pursue this.

AFC looks gettable at the moment, so even if it’s a soft reset year, don’t hate the idea of pushing our chips in.

If Brady, Josh and McBeane thinks we are ok on offense the so be it, fine with that too.

  10. Let’s see how we look this weekend. No one is trading for him right now.

Reevaluate and see what you can do if you really need it

  11. Does anyone know how this would affect our cap space in 2025 and beyond? I can’t understand sacrificing our cap situation along with our extra 2nd this year to get an aging receiver after our offseason was about clearing cap where we could and getting younger

  12. BREAKING: WR would be happy to play for the second best qb in the league 😱😱😱

  13. I’d take him if LV ate some of the cap hit I guess. He’d be a great mentor for a year or two for Keon, etc.
