  1. Nice to hear! Only way he gets on the floor is if his shot falls from way deep. I know Rico has been working on that with him.

  2. That’s exciting. If he can generate points off the bench he will be a critical part of the team.

  3. I can’t fucking wait for this season to start. Regardless of outcome, this is an all time “must watch” season for basketball fans.

  4. He’s either telling the truth and McCain is playing great or it’s leadership

    That’s how I’m spinning this!

  5. I know you can’t judge NBA performance off of open runs, but he worked out all summer with Rico Hines and it shows. Towards the end of the summer he looked very different from summer league. His playmaking and defense stood out during the open runs, which is not something I noticed in summer league. His biggest skill deficiency seems to be the need to improve his ball handling.

  6. Please don’t get my hopes any higher than they are already. McCain and Yabusele are two players that I would be happy to get solid contributions from but might have higher ceilings in their first season. If we can just get a squad off the bench that doesn’t sieve +/-, I’ll be happy. To get one that might occasionally build on a lead would be fantastic.

  7. He’s a 19 year old rookie, so my expectations aren’t that high. But if he can contribute 10-15 minutes off the bench as a designated shooter and occasional lead guard, I’ll be happy.
