Glad to be getting Joe Davis. Smoltz is ehh. Thank god it’s not Pierzynski and Amin. Those guys were glazing the padres the entire series back in 2022.

I’m honestly shocked! I feel like FOX purposely assigned him the non-Dodger series back in 2022, even though they were the #1 seed that year too. Can’t wait to hear everyone (read: Padres fans) say how biased Joe Davis is with his commentary.
I’m ready to hear 3 straight games of John Smoltz saying “this is what the Padres need to do to get back in this ballgame” 🤣
Smoltz grows on me more all the time when he’s paired with Joe. It was interesting when it was Joe and Smoltz for the Dodgers vs Braves series.
I don’t know why they insist on having a guy that seems to hate baseball keep calling these games

Smoltz and Ron Darling are the absolute worst color commentators. Darling is probably still pissed about getting lit up in game 7 of the 1988 NLCS
ever since joe buck, i enjoy watching games on mute lolll i do like joe davis but its just a habit i have developed over the years aahahah
