Robbys on fire

No way he’s not in the opening night lineup

  1. I keep saying this, but he’s playing like a man who has something to prove this year.

If this kind of performance from him continues in the regular season, forget opening line-up. The conversation is whether he’s in the Top 6.

  2. Last year Robertson was in this weird position of not fitting in the top six, but doing enough in the third line. Would be nice to get more looks on the top six again.

  3. Well 5 goals in a row over three games, better trade him for a fourth rounder and keep patches …

  4. Is he really doing well though? It’s preseason. It’s not all NHL level players against him. Players don’t give their 110% in preseason unless they’re like Bobby trying to prove themselves. So is it because he’s playing mostly lesser talent? Idk I’ve never been sold on him but I hope he can be what a lot project him to be this year.

Edit: guess it would have been better to just say “Sell me more on Nicky Bobby” hahah
