  1. The ghost of Jeffress lives. Honestly, this franchise is cursed. Not sure what the formula is to win a championship but I am confident won’t happen in my lifetime.

    I’m so sorry for Uecker

  2. This games joins countless others in the pantheon of Wisconsin sports teams ending their season with crushing heartbreak during the playoffs.

I’m numb to it by now. I expect it. I bet on it.

  3. The worst part of this loss is having to hear everyone make the same stupid bites of the apple jokes for the next month like they’re the first one to ever do it.

  4. I’m just speechless. I can’t believe that happened. We were two outs from the NLDS and had one of the worst chokes of all time. I’m in disbelief that is an all time playoff moment why are we always on the receiving end. We may never win a playoff series.

  5. Devin better be traded by the time next year rolls around. I honestly don’t think the guy even likes being a Brewer so why have him on the team

  6. Not a lot to say. Jeffress in ’18. Hader in ’19. Devin in ’24. We’ve had playoff games and series won and haven’t finished despite all the bullpen talent.

It’s a bright future though. Chourio is the real deal. Yeli and Woody back. An incredible win last night. I know it feels awful now but they’ll be back.

  7. Ortiz went 0-11. You can’t stack the whole loss on one player but if dude gets a simple slapstick hit once or twice we win the series. Huge hole in the lineup.

  8. Not to let Devin off the hook, but this is why you gotta score more fucking runs. Every postseason we try and scrape together a bunch of one run victories in low scoring games and you just can’t bank on winning every game 3-2 and all the way to the World Series.

  9. Don’t even know what the answer is anymore. Love this team but holy shit the disappointment is real. Season over with one swing of the bat, that’s baseball.

  10. The team is for the young guys (and dad) now, let Adames walk, fire Rhys into the sun, get rid of Williams however you can. Put frelick in the infield, Mitchell starting outfield and badda bing, complete team doe next year

  11. Devin Williams playoff resume

2021: Punched wall. Did not play

2023: ERA of 27 in less than 1ip

2024: blowing the series with a two run lead.

Anyway love all the young guys. Chourio, Mitchell, Bauers, Turang, and Frelick all came to play. Shame none of the vets showed up

  12. Another year of Contreras and Adames having almost exclusively pitiful at bats in the playoffs. They just don’t have the juice that’s needed to excel in the postseason.

  13. One of the most soul crushing losses I’ve ever seen. I don’t even know what to say.

Also if the Mets make the World Series the curse will have reached massive proportions.

  14. It’s just so typical that the guys who were so good all year long just completely disappeared. Contreras, Adames, Hoskins, looking at you all

  15. Personally, as soon as Williams threw that pitch a foot above Alonso’s head I had a sinking feeling he was cooked. Dude is way too much of a headcase to rely on when serious shit is on the line.

  16. If Devin Williams has million of haters, then I’m one of them. If Devin Williams has one hater, then I’m THAT ONE. If Devin Williams has no haters, that means I’m dead.

  17. I’ve never heard Uecker so broken up after a loss. I’m sure he knows his time is running out.

  18. No one loses in the playoffs quite as painfully as Wisconsin sports teams lose in the playoffs.

  19. I mean the closer gave up four earned runs in the top of the inning in the clincher game, up two runs. Wow just wow. What a choke job of all time proportions

  20. I just feel for Uecker right now. All those people who are “done” and “knew it” can have their opinions but that man has done more for this team, city, and fan base than just about anyone has done for any franchise and loves this team so much. He’ll be back, so will I.

  21. Devin Williams can’t ever pitch in Milwaukee again. He just can’t. The bar must be higher for performance.

  22. I am so sick of hearing about the “unlucky” Mets and how downtrodden they are. Get fucked. I hope nothing but the worst for those assholes. And I hope Winker shits his pants

  23. Our veteran players of Adames, Contreras, and Hoskins had some of the worst collective at bats you could imagine. And went a combined 4/32. Very cool!

  24. Jeff Levering tearing up and struggling to get through the end of the broadcast. 😢 I’m just as heartbroken. I don’t have the words for how disappointed I am. I wish I could back in time and tell Murph to let Freddy pitch the 9th. Devin never seems to do well when he has to pitch back to back. What a waste of 8 amazingly pitched innings.
