Death, taxes and the Brewers losing in the playoffs
My mom is a diehard Cubs fan and is not happy. She can’t forgive the Mets for 1969.
I’m just hoping our former catching prospect can launch some Schwar-bombs in the divisional round
Ripped their damn hearts out.
Now for the Mets to lose.
The real treasures are the Mets we met along the way
Call me petty, but I was giggling like a little schoolgirl when the Polar Bear sent that one out. Schadenfreude at its finest. Shout out to the asshole Brewers fans who trolled this sub saying “Imagine not winning the division.”

Pete Alonso looked good in his last game before joining Cubs

We would’ve won the series if we were in it.
I put $40 on the Guardians and Brewers to go to the World Series a couple months ago based on their bullpens and clutch hitting. Normally I’d be with y’all loving the loss, but my bet falling and the irony of their bullpen blowing it as early in the playoffs as possible has me 😔.
Kinda forgot that it’s usually the hottest teams going into the playoffs that pull it off. Rangers and Dbacks proved that last year. Not sure who is rolling out of the AL this year, but seems like Padres and Mets could make some noise in the NL based on their second halves.
Ex Cub Quintana doing the Lord’s work keeping the Mets in the game. He’s always pitched well against the Booers.
