Doing a daily jersey design project, wanted to give the Yotes their first outdoor game uniform for the Stadium jersey, and to also finally make a send-off tribute design culminating all of Yotes branding that I wanted to back in May.

The kachina kickstarted my jersey collecting phase in 2013 shortly after the lockout made me realize hockey was my favorite non-racing sport, and in my years of obsessing over hockey branding this has always been one of my favorites, which led me to become a fan when they went full time in ’21. And it’s with that that I wanted to make a tribute jersey conveying my love for their logos and colors when they were set to move.
This Stadium jersey includes the typical bigger logos, numbers and stripes, and would theoretically be played at ASU’s football stadium; in the game logo I replaced the cacti from the Yotes’ desert sweaters with ASU pitchforks.
And yeah, it’s a bit crowded but I wanted to take the excuse of making one big Coyotes tribute paired with the exaggeration leeway that a Stadium jersey would give me, in the end it’s something that I’m very happy with. I’m gonna keep on hoping and be thrilled when the day comes of their return. Here’s hoping it’s before long… π€β€π
That looks like it would fit in the KHL
What is the green thing with the lizard logo meant to represent?
