  1. The corporate business model is full steam ahead regardless how poorly it translates to sports. What’s the answer for a failing team? Hire from within. Just a few of the corporate buzz words they are leaning on. It’s over people!!

  2. What's the point of this press conference without Rocco. Who cares about Thad Levine. Why wasn't Rocco there to discuss his coaching staff being gutted. Did he not know or not care that the presser was today?

  3. The worst businesses are the ones that are led by people allergic to accountability for fear that it will one day be applied to them. Self preservation through puppets that don’t pull on their stings. Minimize risk to the status quo by rejecting change or new ideas. And at all costs protect the bottom line….

  4. Having a great farm system is only good if you use it correctly. The Rays are ranked first, just ahead of the Twins, and they haven’t done much. The Padres are ranked 28 and the Astros 30. Both of these teams have done pretty well this year and the Padres have a legitimate chance to win the World Series.
