  1. Was literally wondering to myself while driving earlier today why he hadn’t been in preseason games

  2. Oh man. I hope whatever he has going on gets resolved and the program gives him the assistance that he needs ❤️ always sucks to see a player going through stuff, but at least they have the resources available to them.

  3. Damn. That sucks. Best of luck to him. Hope he gets the help he needs. Sucks for the team though

  4. I know he’s had a well-documented past with mental health struggles that affected his play – hopefully he can get whatever help he needs for whatever is going on. I imagine he’s had a rough time lately with things not clicking in EDM, I was hoping DET could be a fresh start for him.

  5. Some commenters in here need to touch grass. Wishing nothing but the best for Jack, such a good dude.

  6. On a human level I hope he gets the help he needs, but on a hockey level, this helps with the three goalie problem. Move one of Talbot/Husso/Lyon to GR and free up a roster spot for a Kasper/Mazur/Danielson. Move Holl to GR too for max cap relief and another slot as well

  7. And so the goalie woes begin….but seriously I hope the wings and NHL take care of whatever needs. I remember they were kinda dry towards Vrana when he went into the program

Edit: I know how hard it is to ask for help. I respect the hell out of any player that recognizes they need to take a step back before they can move their career forward

  8. That’s probably the last of his hope to ever make it back to the show. If there was some. Hope he does OK.

What do we do in GR? Send Husso down? Lyon and Talbot could clear waivers but Husso is the only one that’s guaranteed not to get picked up

  9. Hope he’s got the support he needs, guy’s had a long journey. Wishing him a full recovery.

  10. I hope Jack gets all the support he needs and then some. Always wishing the best for the local guy!
