  1. Honestly a good deal for both Kim and the Giants is the Chapman opt out deal. If he outplays it then cool lets give him more money. If he doesn’t, well he has a few years left.

  2. As was searching for talent agents, I got to the A directory, and sure enough, there was Scott Boras

  3. I wonder who Posey would rather sign more out of Kim or Adames? I imagine Adames will be more expensive, but I wonder who he values more 🤔

  4. Yeah, he’s really gonna leave a playoff contender for the giants. Keep dreaming!

  5. What does his shoulder injury timetable look like? A healthy HSK would be a good fit for this team but if he’s going to be out for a significant part of the ’25 season, it’d be best to focus the $$$ elsewhere unless he’s going to take a very team-friendly deal.

  6. I get he’s a huge fan favorite of this sub to sign but I really don’t think we need another defense first, 7th place hitter on this team – I know he had a down year but I’d much rather trade for Bichette and move him to 2B and keep Fitzgerald at SS, at least Bichette has much more of a track record of being a good hitter, still young, and can maybe get him for lower trade price coming off a down year

  7. Kim would be a perfect fit for the Giants. He is a defensive wizard at SS and he does not strike out a lot. Career 18.8% SO and 10.4% BB.

You can slot Fitzgerald over to 2nd base and you would have a pretty damn good left side of the infield.

However, this is also completely dependent on how he looks after surgery.
