  1. Wow espn, you guys don’t show the walk for Linder, single for Nico & the home run from Pete Alonso…. It always be NY sports, nothing else…….. I’m a Yankee fan, but also a New York fan…..give respect to the M E T S ……go Mets…… New York Subway Series!

  2. Alonso didn’t guess on the pitch, he KNEW as devin williamd was tipping his pitches plus he knew it had to be a strike but still great ability to hit it

  3. no matter what happens the rest of the way, I'm just happy that the team showed fight. The 2022 playoffs were a disaster and it felt like everybody was trying to hard not to fail. This team plays fun

  4. The Mets and Phillies played 7 games in September and the Mets won 4 of 7 (6-7 overall record in the season series).
The NLDS is just a best of 5. NY can hang with the big boys, they've proven that.

    4-0 vs Yankees
    5-2 vs Padres
    4-3 vs Diamondbacks
    2-4 vs Dodgers
    12-14 vs Phillies & Braves

  5. If you want to guarantee happiness with the results of a game, bet $ on the team you are rooting against to win, that way if they win you win all that $, and if they lose, you favorite team won!

  6. I’m sorry ESPN needs to do better, to not show the lindor walk and the nimmo hit and then to just cut to the end of the game and skip the ending double play is less than amateur. If you’re going to do highlights let’s show the highlights. ESPN has fallen far from where they were a decade ago

  7. As a diehard Brewers fan, this hurt yet again, but deeper this time. Bob Uecker said something to everybody after the game that made me think he's not coming back next year. There was a lot of emotion, and it didn't seem like it was just the emotions of losing a huge game. The man is ninety years old. I was really hoping the Brewers could give him a beautiful send-off and a World Series. Wishful thinking.
