No matter what happens this year, the Nation has to stand with AP. Not many coaches could win with Midshew and below average Roster in this division. Thoughts?

  1. IN AP I TRUST.

I’m glad he’s cleaning up the locker room and getting rid of the divas that won’t commit to doing the dirty work. Let’s fucking go

    šŸ»šŸ˜Ž

  2. He needs to get better on the field and outside the field is all I could say. I do hope he grows to be a great HC.

  3. Everyone said Campbell was insane when he had to rebuild the culture at Lions. Everyone said his methods were too hard. Everyone said heā€™s crazy for ā€œbiting knee capsā€, now look. 3 years later, with 3 good drafts Lions are contenders.

We donā€™t need to be on the carousel. We need to see this through. Give him 4 years. See if weā€™re improving. Get us a QB that makes sense and can be the franchise guy.

Changing up every two years will never get us to the playoffs.

  4. People are way too harsh on him way too early. Give him a few years and letā€™s see what happens

  5. I need to see more of AP before Iā€™m a believer. I get heā€™s not the OC, but he hired the OC and supervises the OC, so he should take blame for a lot of this bland offensive playcalling weā€™ve been seeing. AP and the team talk a big talk but then play super conservative. Letā€™s see some shots down the field. Some go for the TD instead of the FG to seal a game. Then Iā€™ll give AP my full blessing.

  6. ā€œNo matter what happensā€

Nah itā€™s a wins and loss business lmao are you people ok

  7. I was ride or die with him until I found out about his dog abuse past.

AP can fuck himself and rot.

  8. I stand behind AP 100%! It takes time to actually build a competitive team, positive culture and consistent results.

  9. You have to let the season play out first before making this statement. Weā€™re just a few games into the season. While I will say the Raiders need continuity at the coaching position, but AP still has to earn it. I like him and rooting for him though.

  10. Weā€™re only four games in with AP as the official head coach and sitting at 2-2, which is frankly where I expected them to be after 4 games. Now is not the time to jump to conclusions. Raider Nation needs to give him time to set the culture and tone for the organization. This isnā€™t an overnight operation with instant results.

Sure, he didnā€™t need to like the IG post re: Davante and arguably couldā€™ve handled the ā€œbusiness decisionā€ comments behind closed doors, but one thing I give him credit for is consistency in terms of expecting full effort and wanting guys that are fully team-first. His cutting of Marcus Peters last year and benching Jack Jones for a quarter for lack of effort and not agreeing with Davante wanting to sit out the preseason are evidence of establishing the full effort, hard hat mentality.

  11. Out door is good. We just need to work on the offance in the off-season and if trading adams and we get some picks for him I’m all In

  12. Weā€™ve only had one division game so far (until tomorrow) and we lost that one, so not sure what the immediate future will bring, but I do think we need consistency so I really hope AP doesnā€™t go anywhere for a while. I think heā€™s got the team bought in (excluding diva WRs) and they know itā€™s gonna take a lot of grit to get where they want to be this season and for the foreseeable future. As long as tangible progress is made – adding wins, bringing in quality players (not necessarily superstars), and a consistent refinement of the team culture I think weā€™ll see our team do exactly what weā€™ve wanted them to do for a very long time.

  13. AP is the perfect coach right now. Not winning a Superbowl, but fixing some of the culture and bringing out the best in some players. Once we get a franchise QB, it’s probably time to move on. Bridge coach?

  14. Fuck mark davis is my first thought, he moved the team and sold its soul for the all mighty $. Next weekend, the steelers fans will take over the Stadium, and we aint gonna do shit about it. But there will be some rich douchbag, who’s been a fan for about 15 minutes renting the $20k pirate ship tailgate spot and all that money will go into marks pocket, so its all good.

  15. Heā€™s just got to mature. Heā€™s made two emotional mistakes the past two weeks off the field. If at the end of season those are better he has a chance. But heā€™s got to show maturity to even be a CEO type of coach. I think he should get next year so long as he does that. As for a below average roster thatā€™s just BS. Take away the QB and roster is above average

  16. The problem with having an incompetent front office is it’s really hard to analyze your coaching staff. I’m not a huge AP believer, but I also think it’d be unfair to judge any coach based on a season with Minshew at QB, four fourth string running backs, and a hodge podge OL. Give him another year or two and then decide.

This sub probably hates it, but this team is going to need to be rebuilt and in all likelihood AP won’t survive it (fair or not). We need a WR1, RB1, likely a RT (Glaze pls prove me wrong), and of course a QB1. You just can’t typically get that all in one off-season. By the time we have all of those we’ll need a safety (Epps), linebacker (Spillane), DL (everyone but Maxx). Realistically the Raiders are a good four or five seasons from being competitive. And that’s assuming a competent front office which, well, lol.

  17. Wait a minute…below average? This sub was saying how we have the best D in the league and other than AB a game changing offense….what happened?

  18. Well he’s already shown he doesn’t have the leadership qualities of an NFL head coach. Publicly calling guys out after an embarrassing loss that he didn’t have the team prepared for is shameful. This isn’t high school talk to these grown men personally. It is what it is, McDaniels set us back years and there’s no going back now.
