Using the saints as leverage once again
That Nick Underhill “The saints were heavily aggressive in pursuing Davante Adams but were ultimately unable to come towards a compensation agreement” tweet is gonna hit like CRACK
Saints Lose… get used to it, AT LEAST until Dennis Allen is gone.
Bummer.
I’d love it but realistically if there was any traction for real we’d be hearing about contacts being restructured already in an effort to make the money work. There’s been none of that so I can’t see any way this actually takes place unless Adams himself wants to restructure to a league minimum or something.
Lowkey think it might be better to go after a cheaper guy like DHop at the deadline if it looks like we’re in the playoff hunt
Please no, I really don’t want him. We are not good enough to try and go all in, we need to work for the future

We aren’t built for win now this is a win now move. Let’s get younger on D and get a 3rd WR through the draft.
Going exactly as expected. Monday he’ll be leaning on the saints and everything will look squared away for him become a saint until the announcement Tuesday that he’s signing with the jets.

He is absolutely 100% never coming to the Saints. I’m surprised the Saints are even talking to him. You know we don’t have any money!
He’s owed 70 mil over the next two years(after current year). As much as he’d help this year, idk bout this move fellas.
