I was a huge Wilson fan, but dude isn’t an alpha. Seems like he should be Davonta Smith type of player who can thrive when there is an alpha present

Idk how to feel about Davante coming here. He’s going to eat up a lot of the cap space and doesn’t close up the gaps we have. It feels more like a luxury than a necessity. I feel like you do this trade if you’re one or two pieces away and I don’t feel like we’re one or two pieces away.
Not sure that Adams will fare especially well with this incredibly uncreative offense. And I think he knows it. Would not be surprised to see him try to engineer a reunion with the saints and his old college roomie.
