Some 2024 NHL jerseys with ad patches and helmet ads removed

These were all done with Samsung's AI eraser. That's why some of them, especially the helmets, look a bit off.

  1. Uniform advertisement discourse makes me want to kill myself. One of these teams should get a Lexapro sponsorship.

  2. While at rogers place I noticed they had applied ad patches to most of the jerseys. They charge $10 more for jerseys with the ad patch and it looks like they are working towards getting them on every jersey available at their stores. Is this normal?

  3. I just noticed they have ads on the MLB helmets. It’s not as noticeable when they pull back but it’s very ugly up close.

  4. I can’t believe of all things we got add in hockey sweaters. One thing I thought was sacred to this sport was the jersey yet here we are

  5. What I miss the most is that some teams had unique wordmarks meant for their helmets. It gave way during the 2000’s as many deferred to putting their primary logos on them.

  6. I’m terrified of teams having rotation of movable ads on the jerseys because that seems like the next step…us fans will burn the establishment to the ground if it’s like the European leagues..but the digital age sets us up for potential strokes/seizures with some extremely shit visuals on tv…the only surviving part of the game is the players and season ticket holders…jokes on them, I’m looking forward to not paying taxes again…will I watch till it might kill me…umm, yes, shit is infinitely better than baseball but the Mets have been fun to watch
