CANUCKS MAKE ROSTER CUTS; RATY AND BAINS NOT AMONG THEM

The Canucks cut 13 players from the main roster today. The most notable name is Phil Di Giuseppe…this leaves Aatu Raty, Arshdeep Bains, and Nils Aman to battle for one or two roster spots ahead of the start of the regular season.

  2. I thought Raty was not gonna make the roster after making that mistake of a penalty that caused 2-1 Goal, prolly got saved due to them tying it up right after what do you think?

  8. I'd really like to see Raty sign he's impressed with his awkward faceoff wins lol and that wildcard touch of offense on the 4th line would be nice. I hear Bains name allot during the game too which is a good sign he's getting in the mix and I've noticed him retrieve pucks allot in the offensive zone! Hmmmmm

  12. There will be injuries in the forward group. Raty will be more serviceable who can play anywhere doing faceoffs, killing penalties and scoring more goals that PDG. Plus Raty is a big dude and not afraid to play heavy as Toc said. PDG got beat out clearly due to the above reasons. It is not surprising that PDG is sent down. Bains could be sent down later when healthy forwards come back.

  13. Does Aman have pictures of Alvin and a goat in an inappropriate situation or something. No idea why he would be there and not PDG and/or Lekkerimaki.
