The Boston Bruins and Jeremy Swayman have agreed on a contract extension. The soap opera is finally over between Swayman and the Bruins, and we can go back to talking about hockey again.
Swayman has signed an 8-year contract extension for 8.25 million per season.

Like everyone, I'm glad it's finally over….just incredibly surprised it took this long. Even if 64M was never officially on the table until that press conference, rumors are 8×7.8 was. Hard to believe he lost at least 1-2 weeks of pre-season over 500k per year

Happy it's over. Glad Swayman is a Bruin. That said thats a long time and a lot of money for a guy with his career to date. Let's hope it was a risk worth taking and works out. Go Bruins Go !!!!

Bussi looked good the last game. He should be given at least one more start before Swayman plays. If he plays as well I'd trade Korpisalo for a scoring forward and keep Bussi as the backup.

No goalie should be paid more than 6 mil a year. Your defense is what makes or breaks your goaltending. Ever notice how when one goalie is putting up good numbers the other goalie is putting up good numbers as well such as Ullmark?

Long contract is never a good till with goalies since their carrer often turn sideways… I guess we'll see.
