Swayman hasn’t had a true #1 goalie’s workload yet and the word is out that we’ll pay more than Price’s contract anyway.
At best, this may bring Shesty down by a few hundred thousand, but not much more.
Give Shesty 8×10.5 and call it day. Hell even 11

So Swayman needed 66 million reasons to sign instead of 64 million. Not bad, as long as he can endure the whole season each year.
Igor’s beating the current (active) high of 10 for a goalie. The question is by how much. This probably helps keep that number on the lower end. Given his leverage anything under 11 is a win for the rangers
Swayman is a RFA. Shesterkin is a UFA. They’re not comparable. He gave up his leverage. Hope this helps. Swayman has also split his time with Ullmark.
At the end of the day, I think it ends up at 11-11.5.
