  1. No , they won't and we better go out there and get some FA. No reason siranthony Dominguez, corbin burnes, and tanner scott shouldn't be on this team next season

  2. Bellinger will opt in, because he had a down year compared to the previous one. There’s no $ for him elsewhere. Which means…they might trade Hoerner and open up a spot for Shaw. Everyone else will stay in the minor leagues, because they’re afraid to pull the trigger. They’ll wait for our players under contract to perform up to expectations. I don’t think Jed has Rickett’s permission to spend any money. I just think they will do very little and have a worse year in the standings (maybe a better record by a game or two) finishing behind the Brewers and Franconia’s Reds, who will win the division. It doesn’t look good at all. Yeah, there’s a lot they could do…but they WON’T!!

  3. Jed’s plan hasn’t worked so far and probably won’t. Great prospects, but no where to play them. Young outfielders with no where to go thanks to the no trade clauses. Solid team of”good” players, need a couple of studs.

  4. I think it would be idiotic to trade Caissie. He's got 35+ homer a year potential and has a great arm for the outfield. His exit velocities are also crazy high. You have to keep him.

  5. If Belli opts out that opens RF for Caissie. I think Shaw will be in the starting line up next spring. Either Hoerner would get traded or he will simply beat out Paredes, who will become the new Wisdom. The prime focus should be on a trade for Vlad Guerrero. Give them one major leaguer (Bush or Hoerner) and several prospects.

  6. I won’t count on Happ and Suzuki to be Cubs future, so I won’t trade the best OF unless we get one star back. Their contract is due 2026 when those OF prospect will becoming stars. It is perfect timing. I would trade infield prospect for pitching star and controllable bullpen star if we can.
