1. So glad we stayed up late to watch a coaching disaster class from both teams

2. We lost cause the offense did nothing for like 90% of the game. Fields was inaccurate all night and missing reads everywhere, and russ must be the starter next week. Sorry fields fans but he played like kenny pickett tonight.

3. Well whatever goodwill Arthur Smith has built up has taken such a shit that TB employees would be impressed. Being as anemic as this offense was, against a team that was as depleted as Dallas were, is simply inexcusable.

   Know what else is inexcusable… not utilizing your best talent. Heard that before? Pickens getting outsnapped by Calvin Austin & Can Jefferson at any point LMFAO. It is already bad enough to barely target him, but not even having him on the fucking field as a threat for the defense to respect? Save that “they are better blockers” shit for the birds… the blocking difference (if any) does not outweigh the difference of being an overall threat

7. Good:

   – TJ / Herbig. Just studs man. TJ is inevitable and so cool to see Herbig take form, now he just needs to get healthy and we need Alex back

   – redzone defense. 2 turnover. Blocked FG. Can’t ask for much more than that. Yet couldn’t capitalize

   Bad:

   – penalties. False start. Illegal formation on kickoff. Facemask. Gotta clean this stuff up

   – beanie. Need Sutton back in the slot. Holding on the third down, was targeted all night. Just a terrible game for the rookie.

   – third down defense. A third and six toss got a first are you serious? All night Dallas controlled third down. This is two weeks in a row for us, just pitiful and the story of the game.

   – offense. Man. Everything just seems so difficult. I’m gonna guess that Russ is the starter next week

   Overall, completely shot ourseleves here. There is no reason we should have lost this game. Defense gave us the stops we needed and we just couldn’t do anything with it. Starting to get hammered with injuries and losing this game stings. We had this one and just gave it away, pretty inexcusable stuff and it all comes down to third down defense to me. That, and not being able to do a goddamn thing with the turnovers you’re given. No clue how we can be this bad there but here we are, year after year.

9. One of the more demoralizing losses…. Literally the same thing happened the last time we played the Cowboys. This shit sucks man

    Fields had some ungodly throws and our defense let one of the worst running offenses run through them

    It still amazes me that the organization as a whole is okay with having the same kind of result in such a similar fashion every year even though it’s been proven it doesn’t work past staying slightly above .500 and then getting destroyed in the 1st round.

24. If it wasnt for the turnovers in the redzone Dallas would have won by even more. The better team won. Steelers can’t convert on 3rd down and the overrated defense can’t stop the run or get a stop on 3rd down.

28. Pickens is not the kind of guy I want to see be a long term Steeler tbh. He did that dirty kick early in the game and then just grabbed that dude’s facemask after the game ended. Classless fucking crybaby behavior. Guy still acts like a fucking child in his twenties.

29. What is going on with our 3rd down Defense

    First 3 weeks we locked down on 3rd.

    Last 2 and we full of more holes than swiss cheese

30. oh is that the steelers losing a game at home where they were favored because of complete offensive ineptitude and the defense being torn apart by a competent qb and some absolute no name weapons? you don’t say. never seen this story before and i’m sure we never will again.

31. I don’t want to hear about how the defense was tired. They were giving up long drives the entire game and if the Cowboys could’ve  stop fucking themselves they would’ve scored 30. They moved the ball all night long. This is the highest paid defense in the league, or second, and our best players disappeared when we needed them the most. Happens constantly. Needed adjustments came too late or not at all. Happens constantly. 

     The offense was worse. It’s been bad for half a decade through multiple quarterbacks and multiple coordinators and multiple GMs. Figure it out. 

32. God forbid we just score like 3 or 4 TDs like normal fucking NFL teams and not rely on “taking them to deep waters”. You know what’s deep water? Being down several scores. Winning is always great, but how you win is what deeply matters. Our way of winning is just so ridiculously unfair to TJ and juggernauts.

33. I could not be more sick of Tomlin’s brand of football. In 2024 you can’t play ultra conservative on offense and let the defense win you games. It does not work against good offenses.

    People want to blame Feilds, but look what he’s working with. An awful, injured, OL. A RB1 with the vision of a blind grandma. The worst WR core in the NFL, with the one bright spot being a WR with effort and attitude problems. Add in the most conservative playcalling in the league, and it’s a wonder he manages to score at all.

    The only time our offense has looked good was last week when they were forced to take his leash off due to being in a 17 point hole.

    At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter who is in at QB when we have shit weapons, shit OL, and playcalling from a coach who still thinks it’s 1979 and you can win the game with your defense.
