  1. Listen, I’m all for the TJ Sally name. But shorten it to T-Sally…which reminds me of Tuna Salad. And what call is Eric Collins and Dell famous for… “chicken salad!!!”, well T-Sally could pave the way for an Eric and Dell, “Tuna salad!!” call.

  2. The most encouraging part of Game 1 was Charles Lee's post-game presser. How refreshing. He oozes confidence and positive energy, Gotta think we'll be competitive no matter who's on the court. Say so long to the beat-down jaded attitude we got from Clifford.

  3. Tre Mann is a good security blanket behind LaMelo. He’s a +1 if LaMelo stays healthy, but he’s a good substitute if LaMelo gets hurt.

  4. Great game overall, Lamelo looked fantastic and playing bit off ball as well, Miller was great, not forcing any ball, I am not going to react on Miller not shooting more mid range in the first game. I was impressed by T Mann plays in offense and defense. Tidjane looked that he can fit and crack the rotation if the 3P continue to fall in pre season games, lots of improvement he needs in defense.

  5. Tidjane oozes the kind of confidence that you just can't teach. It's exciting as hell to watch when he plays like he did last night!

That kind of confidence will also lead to nights where those same 3's clang off the backboard or miss it entirely and his confidence looks foolish.

Let his skills and understanding of the game grow in Greensboro. He has a long future here, if we raise him right.

  6. Whose team is it? Don't split hairs…. not now or a year from now. The answer is BOTH! Lamelo AND Brandon 1a & 1b… remember Charles Lee is coming from CHAMPION Boston Celtics where the Tatum / Brown argument finally dies.

We are building a TEAM of depth. LaMelo is one of one and his skillset amplifies the the right players.

  7. I like the idea of Mann being a sixth starter type. Dammit, that fleecing is looking fleecier every day.
If Tidjane can figure it out just 5 percent on defense, he's got a future.
