  1. Yeah we’ve been here before. But that doesn’t mean we are guaranteed to succeed. They need to work and address the many issues this team is showing. History gives me faith they’ll make the adjustments needed, but I’m not assuming they will just make a championship run because that’s how it’s gone in the past.

  2. Years past have no relevance to this year. There is no correlation other than Shanny seems to start slow very often which is inexcusable with how long he’s been the team’s HC and how many players have stayed on the team year after year. What does give him a sort of excuse is the constant coaching carousel since there’s no consistency with coaches like the chiefs have had. How many times have we been regurgitating this sentiment of slow starts don’t matter anyways? How many of these slow starts ended in a Super Bowl win? That IS the goal here. NFCCG doesn’t cut it when you make it to the big game twice and lose twice.

  3. I’m not even sure they’ll win the division at this rate. They normally will all or all but 1 division games

  4. Some fans are showing the casual but honestly fake ass 49er fans they are or claim to be knowing nothing about NFL Football in general…
I understand that we’ve looked disoriented since Week 2 of the season…but I laugh the way some of you expect The 85’ Bears Defense, 07’ Pats Defense & or 00’ Ravens Defense to appear on a week to week basis…the unrealistic expectations is amazing…we have been driving down the field but not cashing in on Red Zone opportunities, I understand Mason fumbled but that kid’s been remarkable for an undrafted FA not to mention he’s the 2 string RB…we lost yesterday because Moody got injured period…we lost to the Rams b/c of the Rams taking advantage of a young secondary…only Minnesota has dominated us & that was a trap surprise game

  5. We also started out 2-3 in 2020 and that season ended in not making the playoffs. Losing Jimmy to injury definitely played a role in how that season turned out.

This graphic is missing important details.

In 2021, the d line found its form and Deebo took over on offense. You are not surprising anyone with Deebo anymore.

In 2022, we trade for CMC, Garoppolo gets hurt, and Brock takes over.

Something special had to happen for these season to turn around. Can Kyle create a new wrinkle/weapon to this offense mid-season like he did with Deebo in 2021? Can Brock elevate his game to another level. Can the defense find its form? That is what a turnaround is going to require.

  6. Deebo deadass dragged the 2021 offense into that championship game. 2022 the schedule wasn’t that bad compared to this seasons. The only difference is purdy has the potential to turn the table but the whole team needs to play better

  7. Every season is different. We can’t really go off of the past seasons, the point is that it looks bad right now.

  8. I wish people would stop comparing these. Go back and look at who we beat and how we played. Those teams were still VERY GOOD at at least 1 phase of the game (great run game, great defense, our best players healthy and playing extremely well).

Outside of Brock, Fred, and Jennings, who exactly is playing well right now? Are we dominant in ANY category? Is the defense showing signs of playing well? We’re getting LESS healthy every week now. And the coaching is just worse all around.

  9. Tired of these slow starts and them underperforming their talent level….that is all.

  10. I’m not gonna judge this team based on previous years.

Yes, it’s too early to panic. But I don’t like what I’ve seen thus far, and rhays valid too.

  11. Nothing really has me worried about this yet. Yeah, we’ve lost twice in the division, but the division right now is hot trash.

Rams are just decimated everywhere. Maybe it’ll matter if all of their guys get healthy at the end.

Toots, I’ve been waiting to lose one of these close games. They’ve been playing it close almost every week.

AZ, they still don’t have enough yet. The last game was a steal since you know kickers matter. Kyler looks great running but still iffy as a passer.

If the 9ers still take 10 games, that’s probably enough to win the division

  12. The record doesn’t bother me, but who they have lost to is what makes me have a bit of concern.

  13. 2 defensive plays and we 4-1. That said if they get the Defense sorted we would be able to make wildcard weekend. Just can’t lose another division game.

  14. Purdy can eat yards in the mid field better than anyone, we just need someone to punch it in the red zone and were good, stay faithfull

  15. Is there any chance coach prefers early losses to “toughen” up the team mentally?
    Psychological warfare 🤷🏽
It is a long season and all.

  16. Uh. The D line looks tired AF.

    New D coordinator is suspect.

We are one RB injury away from Deebo and the rookie running the rock the rest of the year.

We ain’t doing nothing this year.

  17. Every year is different. Rosters and coaches are different too. You cannot assume that things will automatically turn out just because they’ve done so in the past.
