What a brutal day for cleveland sports
Florio states that the victim settled, and won’t talk to the league. Watson settled presumably to save his guarantees and his career (whatever is left of it).
So any potential that we had an out on this is gone. The hope we had of getting out of the cap hell is gone.
I saw that floated earlier as he has 90 million reason to make it go away
We’re so beyond fucked. I am so livid at all the bozos that ran Baker out of town. Y’all got Haslam so pressed he panicked and set our franchise back a decade and alienated the entire fanbase and football community from supporting your team. All for the worst football we’ve ever seen, which says a lot.
Fuck Jimmy Haslam. Sell the fucking team and fuck off.

I don’t understand how you settle something like this. I know money is power but man I’d say trying to take down a pig is more important so that he can never do this to women again
I stand by the fact that if Watson continues to play like ass, he will get benched. He has a lot of rope, but to be honest, with the way things have unfolded, I wouldn’t be surprised if we push Stef beyond his limit. Going 1-9 is very much on the table, and we could end up as a 5 win team this season. Such a disaster surely would bring them back to the drawing board at QB, regardless of the sunk cost.
Or maybe I’m coping hard.
At this point I’m just happy to watch him look like shit and get sacked a bunch.
