That’s how you get a max deal
He has been much better on defense from what I’ve seen in practice scrimmages and preseason
I already thought his defense was fine last year all I care about is him adding the 3 ball and then I would be comfortable giving him the max
How much more lean he became was not something I expected this year.

Fuck defense, someone should do a side by side of his shot release year over year. I’m hoping those weren’t fluke shots and it actually is that much quicker now.
That release looked so much quicker, he’s been working with the shooting coaches this offseason. Hopefully it stays consistent
