  1. Genuinely really excited for what goes down today (and tomorrow).

    EVERY Series is knotted at one game a piece… can’t do much better than that, considering how much momentum a Game 3 win gives you, no matter what team you are.

    If you’re the home team in G3 – you now have the chance to close out the series in front of your home fans.

    If you’re the away team in G3 – you have a chance for an “on the road upset” or, at the very least, are getting Game 5 back at home.

    And with what we’ve already seen from the Teams:

    – LA is still LA and is struggling with pitching and hitting – see how they rebound in G3

    – SD is hungry af for another NLCS appearance – and now playing 2 games at home.

    – Mets are gritty and never to be counted out – going to NY for 2 games now, should be fun.

    – Phillies are starting to remember how to hit – have WalkOff momentum going into NY

    – Yankees now gotta go on the road after 2 close games at home – add in Judge’s struggle and you have a recipe for good storylines.

    – Royals are gritty and hype for this – going home to KC for 2 games (first home games this Playoffs)f

    – Guardians Pitching factory is still at work (aside from Clase’s MASSIVE hiccup) – they just need to hit a bit more

    – Tigers headed home to DET for the first time this October – that stadium is gonna be LOUD

    HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE PLAYOFF BASEBALL

    *this is spoken from a “casual” fan, who follows baseball in general as opposed to just one team/player. If your favourite team is involved in this, I hope you have enough anxiety/headache medicine
