We’ll lose by double digits Sunday and Kevin will be fired Monday
This guy will keep his job though.

Browns are the epitome of this
Cooper also had 260 air yards and a TD called back from penalties and drops on target through 2 weeks alone.
Don’t give a shit about any of these stats until we can catch, not get penalties, and have a functional line.
I love Mike Clay but ESPN Analytics stats always confuse me.
Per PFR/SportsRadar, Cooper has:
47 targets
20 catches
7 drops
Watson has:
22 Bad Throws
Which basically means (although the math doesn’t exactly add up, perhaps ESPN has Cooper with fewer drops or something) … every single pass Cooper has not caught was “off target” and every single “off target” throw from Watson was intended for Cooper?
* And even that slightly-off math is more off than that because per PFF, Cooper has 8 contested targets and 4 contested catches, meaning 4 more uncaught targets are accounted for … so 20 catches + 7 drops + 4 uncaught contested targets = 31/47, which implies a maximum of 34% of his targets being “off target” doesn’t it?
I just don’t understand how all of these stats from different sources are so dramatically different.
I’d like to trade Amari to KC for a 3rd/4th. Him and other guys are open. Just can’t get them the ball.
This is actually quite impressive
Cooper has been as bad as Watson. The one deep ball got called back for a penalty which is neither player’s fault. But goddamn if Cooper doesn’t get overthrown he drops the fucking ball.
Don’t care I still can’t stand Amari for how bad hes played after having the nerve to hold out this summer. I want him gone too
Year after year this team causes me to lose my sanity more and more. Browns confirmed dogshit
And he dropped the remaining 55%
You know I wasn’t sure – I thought Watson’s off target shit was designed. Thank god for all these stats telling me that he’s absolute dog shit
Well of course Watson is still shaking off the rust
I went ahead and looked at the CPoE + EPA comps for QBs since we traded for the bum in 2022 (min 300 snaps).
Watson (693 snaps) ranks 47th out of 49 QBs with a 0.010. Only Zach Wilson and Davis Mills were worse.
But hey, lets have some fun and look at QBs who rank better than him.
We have Josh Dobbs (638 snaps) with a 0.020, Sam Howell (787 snaps and a 0.030, Desmond Ridder (628 snaps) and a 0.030 and, my personal favorite, Kenny Pickett (889snaps) and a 0.041. None of these guys is a starter btw.
This comment is directed at the “Watson isnt so bad” crowd.
Man the boos at the next home game will be absolutely deafening.
