  1. Brandstrom was absolutely terrible all camp and preseason. So glad heโ€™s gone. This is a weird trade but I guess something is better than nothing haha

  2. Engvall is always an enigma. Big, fast, strong, wicked shot, shows flashes of talent. On paper he should be a decent player, but just never plays all that well. He doesn't seem to have that hockey sense you need at the NHL level.. As to his contract, Iwas bewildered he got such a long deal. Maybe a 3 year deal would have been a good one, but 7 years on a borderline player? Crazy. I think he will eventually be bought out and then head back to Europe to play

  3. If there are any zoo's on the lookout, they have a good chance at grabbing a cheap giraffe in Engvall if they pay attention and act quickly..
I hear the market for giraffes is insane, so now would be a good time to swoop in on this.

  4. I like Ryan Suzuki. Very good defensivly and on faceoffs. in my opinion he has more offensive upside than ZERO offense Jack Drury. I would rather see Suzuki at 3C than jack Drury! Jack Drury is a great replacement for J Staal when Staal retires but the Canes do not need both. Suzuki looked very good on the PP in camp and preseason games. THE CANES ARE WAISTING HIM IN THE AHL!!!!!! The canes do not have a 3rd line! The Staal line is a checking line. The best in the league when Martinook and Staal are together (unlike the second round when RBA seporated them and the Canes missed it big time) But 99% of teams checking line is the 4th line not the third line. Drury is a 4th line center!!! Thats it. He should have never been 2C in the second round. Suzuki could have been that 3C the Canes need. Honestly I would have loved to see him center Svech and Necas. Don't get me wrong I do like KK between Svech and Necas as this is where KK fits in most doing the heavy work while the skills of Svech and Necas do the rest but I feel Suzuki could have brought something more.
Josiah Svavin also could have been a good fit in my opinion as he will battle in front of the net. Something the Canes lack.

  5. Hereโ€™s a poll if you where Murray?? Would you rather have won back to back Stanley cups than become injury prone for the rest of your career or be a solid goalie who wins venizas for over a decade but never win a Stanley cup? I would pick the first one

  6. Honestly, that was an amazing trade. Yes, we lost a 4'th rounder pic next year. But Brandstromm is just depth, and is an actual defenseman that can play hockey for van or abby. Cleared up LTIR, and now Canucks are cleaning up the books.

  7. Amazing video as always!

Why dont teams want to use LTIR?
Can we get a video about LTIR, cap savings? And cap accumalation when choosing to use IR instead of LTIR?

    Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚
