damn if only we had a more mobile QB on the team that looked extremely comfortable and proficient running the offense in preseason and showed flashes of being a 15 year starter in the NFL who we miraculously draft in the 5th round after being highly touted as a future #1 overall pick years prior

Cause and effect. The o line falls to complete pieces on injuries? Expect the qb to follow when he’s forced to take hits within seconds of the ball being snapped.

They play Sunday night and then on Thursday too. How the hell does a MNF, Sunday, TNF make any sense scheduling wise?

This is a prime opportunity to see what we have in Rattler. Carr is probably gonna be out for 3-4 weeks. Doesn’t matter either way…because the season is already over.
This team is never going anywhere as long as Dennis Allen is HC and Carr is starting at QB. The rest of this season is a great chance to see what we have in Rattler.
If he sucks and doesn’t develop…we should have a high draft pick to get a QB next year. Either way…this “win now” shit needs to finally stop. It’s been time to build for the future since Payton left…and now it looks like they’ll be forced into doing so.
It’ll be banter when Haener is throwing 9 for 27 and 122 yards, not even close to an int or td, with Blake Grupe as emergency back up. Rattler back in his house, slaying on CFB 25.
