7:46 "lost Jake Walman" by losing you mean we gave him a raise, then paid to get rid of him. Difficult to call that a loss, more like removed a tumor. Honestly I thought Walman was playing well, even with getting the most difficult defensive minutes in the NHL along with Mo. So Yzerman who is smarter than everyone according to previous statements in this video, thought Walman was a tumor, yet you, myself, and many others claim Walman leaving was a loss. Is Yzerman really "smarter"? Was giving Walman a raise, then paying to get rid of him smart? Or did he get lucky in TB?
How much better would it have looked if we could’ve kept Jake Wallman at basically the same price point as we’re having to pay Justin Holl to ride the waiver wire. That might’ve helped our defense a little bit.
Copp on the 4th line at 6 mil a year, LOL
Y’all are getting way too bent outta shape about Kasper and the opening night roster. He’s gonna be the first injury call up. Hes 20 yrs old and top line minutes in GR are better than 8 minutes per game in the NHL. You 2 are the quintessential whiney bitch Wings fans
My issues with this team are, could have had Walman instead of Holl, instead of Gustafsson, cuz there's no way Yzerman didn't know the Johansson situation was coming. Could switch Berggren and Fischer on the depth chart and it's immediately better for both lines, and both player types,
The Watson penalties were more of a reaction to the pera xhekaj issue. The refs didn't want things getting to that point and took him out of the game rather than calling the actual penalties.
