Insane that it isn’t our standard jersey
I have no actual reason to believe this, but I sort of think that they’re working towards a full time switch. They wear the heritage stuff a lot in practice, and I feel like we’ve seen heritage branding in lots of places around the team
And bring back the whites for the home jersey! Good guys wear white!!
I’m fine with these staying special- but I would really love them to change something up. Our thirds have been pretty awful to date, and the home/away kit could use an overhaul. Fanatics switch would have been a good time to try. If the design bombed- blame the new company.
agreed. id l also like to see jets 1.0 history be transferred to the current franchise.
No thanks, I was never an Jets fan from before. I moved to Winnipeg in 1998 and became a Jets fan after the new team arrived.
Agreed, but I also like the Jet-on-leaf current homer. Would be cool if heritage became the full time home/away. There was an all star game (I think) where they did black jerseys with an ice blue jet-on-leaf – that jersey would make a killer third. The only real stinker in the collection is the RR1.0
Has anyone ever mocked up this jersey with the silhouette of the F-18 in place of the airliner? I just kinda wanna see what a mash up of the two logos could look like.
I’ll sign. The updated colour scheme from the 1.0 era makes this one so sick! I love it! But yeah, the OG 2.0 ‘nod to the rcaf’ has always been atrocious. I could never were one. It’s so bad 😔
