1. Should we be rooting for the mets to win tonight to secure the easier matchup or for the phillies to win tonight so that both teams are less rested?

2. I’m the most nervous about today given that their bullpen has completely shut us down minus their low-leverage guys in the 8th & 9th in Game 2.

7. 9+ hours of nonstop playoff baseball today, definitely no work getting done today

   Also, the (near) bookends of Tatis obliterating a baseball and Suarez finishing the game with a 101 mph whiff is just … perfect.

10. I love that our organization essentially told Ken Rosenthal to fuck off. And Tatis’s IG post, haha. If we advance I think Fox will have to replace him.

12. Non-Padres fan here. Why isn’t Waldron an option to start tonight? Didn’t he have a good season, or am I overeating him because of how much I suck against him in The Show?

13. Manny is the single most baseball-savvy player i’ve ever seen. His value goes waaaaaaay beyond his offensive production.

    Cease take our energy, you’re in our house now. They mentioned his first postseason start he was a bit nervous from the crowd energy, hopefully that’s not a factor today.

    Couple of things:

    Their bullpen has shut us down except Sunday. We’ve been scoring early bat after that our bats just, die. That needs to change today because we know their season is on the line.

    Cease starting on 3 days rest 😬😬😬 but if someone has shown us not to doubt him it’s Mike with his decision making. For example yesterday a lot of people including myself were shitting bricks when we saw Suarez coming out for a 4 out save but he was nails after not playing for a while.

19. New to baseball and coming here with a quick question.

    When I watched the game on Saturday the dodgers had what looked like ordinary fans participating on the field. When I watched on Sunday, there were times when there were multiple balls in play on the field at once. None of this happened in last night’s game. When is on field fan participation allowed, and in what circumstances will multiple balls be put in play?

20. We’ll need the boys to get locked in for a bullpen game. Again after the big inning in the second, the boys were held to a singles party afterwards. Gonna need to see some XBH in the later innings off bullpen guys.

21. Hypothetically, do we see Martin Perez as a start option in the next round if they make it.
