Can someone please explain to me why we’re getting on a ✈️ and heading to Milwaukee for 1 pre-season game!?!? – LeBron James

Are preseason games normally with teams in the same division/conference?

Why did the Bucks go to LA for 1 pre-season game last year?
To be fair you’d think preseason for basketball would be similar to spring baseball. Just have different host sites and play round robin style for 2 weeks. Not like football where they require a week to recover.

We all think he is asking about non-division preseason games. But what about the plane question? Why aren’t teams traveling by train, stage coach, Conestoga wagon trains? Or heck why won’t the Lakers just get on a boat, sail through the Panama Canal, through the Gulf of Mexico, up the Eastern seaboard, up the St Lawrence River and through the Great Lakes to Milwaukee? Now that is the real question we need the NBA to start answering, and none of this faster, easier, and cheaper nonsense about planes./s
