[NHL News] Leafs have placed G Joseph Woll on injured reserve. He’s ineligible to feature for the Leafs for at least seven days.

This is really bad. There have been no games for over 5 months. He should be in the net tonight let alone in October. JFC.
Well, I guess this is why they haven’t made any trades.
He’s either a brick Woll or a glass Woll
All of the talent, none of the durability.
Hey it’s good to at least know this before they sign him to an extension.

Woll played only 90 minutes all preseason, either he was injured all through out the offseason and he aggravated it when he played, or he’s the new Matt Murray and this is just how he is.
The guy ended the season injured and is now starting this season injured
Wouldn’t this mean they would’ve had to waive someone today to be able to dress a backup tomorrow? You can’t emergency recall again I don’t think. They might already be using an EBUG tomorrow which is an odd move when you’re carrying so many extras
This is such a goddamn shame. I really want Woll to be our guy but fuck me if he ain’t making it difficult.
Great opportunity for Stolarz to make the net his though, and it’s a lot less painful considering we are free of the Samsanov anxiety. Hope we see Hildeby also.
