Tonight’s Mets Starter Jose Quintana has posted a negative WAR only once in his 13 year career. Can you guess which team that was with?

  1. What’s strange is I remember he did relatively well in spring training for us, but then everything went wrong during the season

  2. Our team is the major league version of fall ball or cape code league. Random players come in and play to get their next contract some where and get their second wind after they leave us and move on to better opportunities.

  3. This is the sort of thing I find so frustrating. It seems like when the Angels trade for or sign free agents they’ll do good before they come to the Angels, then turn mediocre or get hurt after they become an Angel, then do better after they’ve left again.

I’m sure that’s not exactly a scientific observation, it just feels that way after a while.

  4. And he just pitched 5+ IP with 0 ER in a playoff game. Angels, land of the cursed for pitchers. If you’re lucky, you just blew your arm for Tommy John, and at the very worst you get killed by OD.
