How long do we have to keep patrick wisdom?!
How can you rate Hoerner so high? It's not the slug, it's that he put up numbers after the Cubs were out of the playoff running. He needs to wslk more, practice situational hitting. Trade him. He and a couple of prospects will get us a TOR or a star position player and even if Shaw doesn't exceed his #'s the Cubs get a change maker in return.
I have no problem with the grades. Their honest ratings. Outfield position players had good seasons. 1st, 2nd, & SS were okay. The organization screwed us with the bullpen, 3rd base, catcher, bench and the 4/5 starters as well as depth. That’s why we were a 3rd place meh team.
I really do not trust the organization’s player evaluating capabilities. I still remember the Athletic article that they asked other organizations to rate the best organizations and the Cubs were not among them. When the people that you work with think you guys are meh or mopes, that is definitely telling.
