well, a disappointing result for the season opener, but at least Rantanen had a hat trick.

I know its the first game but our scoring doesnt look too bad even without marchessault!!

What a game by Jack Eichel getting 4 assists! He dishes out some outstanding passes which not many players in the league can do as well as him! He proves to be a true leader time and time again! Whenever the Avs tried to get closer tonight, VGK immediately had an answer ending their dreams in this game!
Barbie's goal that he scored with his backhand after slicing through the defender was a thing of beauty that you don't get to see often!
The chemistry between Olofsson and Eichel was on display tonight, it was a great move to get the next guy from the Sabres to VGK….
Critics used to say who's gonna score for VGK now? They gave the perfect answer scoring 8 goals against the Avs, 5 of those goals were scored on Georgiev who got pulled and who is now suffering of PTSD!
From year 1 to all of eternity, VGK is my and our team!

Breaking News: Georgiev got pulled and was put on daycare after the Vegas Golden Knights filled his net with a dozen goals again just like at the recent pre-season game which was only a few days ago…. It resulted in Georgiev suffering PTSD who's now considering to end his career after getting humiliated repeatedly by VGK in such a brief span of time!

I see Fourgiev got renewed for a new season.

Although the Avs lost can we give them a round of applause from Miko!!! The Moose got loose!! Coming from a Vegas fan

I'm willing to bet we'll see a lot more goalies going in the 1st round in the next few years. The amount of teams in this league that have the talent but just can't win because every puck goes in their own net is hilarious.
Good grief. I want to keep saying that this is only the first game, but that would only be a cope for just how bad this one was. Don't get me wrong, the Hat Trick by the Moose was certainly nothing to complain about!! It's just disappointing to see a snowman from the other side. In the opener. We have a great offense, but it means nothing if we're playing catch up for 60 minutes. Props to Vegas, they played a great game. 81 games means time to get better, particularly defensively. Home Opener against Columbus on Saturday night! Go Avs Go❤💙
I don't care if it's Georgie or Anunen but we need to get our goaltending fixed man. We don't want to potentially waste any of our stars career…
