This happened so many times in the regular season too. If we played the dodgers or padres this round we would’ve seen the same results.

Fuck the Mets always, but I’m done with baseball for the year. With college and NFL football I watch games besides Penn State and the Eagles, but for baseball I only watch the Phillies.
I’m rooting for the Padres. I was stationed in San Diego for a few years and went to plenty games at Petco. Plus San Diego has never won a championship in any sport (used to have the Chargers and Clippers). I wouldn’t mind seeing the Tigers, Royals or Cleveland win either. Basically anyone but the Mets.
Moved from Philly to California, eventually ending up in San Diego and attending tons of Padres games, so I’m happy to jump on board.
I’m a fan of anyone whose club name doesn’t start with New York or Los Angeles. The two most annoying cities on the continent with the most annoying fans either side of the Mississippi

I think everyone wants a Tigers win at this point. However, I hate the Mets so much, I would rather they lose the World Series in a spectacular fashion since it causes more pain.
