A 2020 NY Times article on the 2004 ALCS. (Part of a 40-part series on greatest comebacks in sports).

Hadn't come across that article until today. Great article. Not too long of a read; a collection of cool storylines and amazing facts that made that particular comeback triumph unlike any other. David Ortiz hitting two walk-off hits in a single day. Dave Roberts having had zero plate appearances during the entire ALCS series, and yet being one of the first names that come to mind when talking about that season. Mariano Rivera never having blown saves two games in a row, never mind postseason games, etc, etc, etc. I'm watching Faith Rewarded again this weekend. LOL.
