People keep saying Brown doesn’t have trade value 🤦♂️ WRONG!! As Lebron once said legacies are built in the playoffs. Brown is a proven playoff performer with a ring to his name. He wasn’t just sitting on Denver’s bench when they won a championship. He was their Norman Powell! Like Danny Green those guys will always be valued by teams looking to make a deep playoffs run. When Masai get’s a package that involves a first round pick, or a young player with upside for Brown then don’t be shocked. There’s a reason why we’re not looking to just dump him for anything we can get like some people think. Smh at the people that said we should have just let him walk and not picked up his option🤦♂️ This is what every team looking to make a run was waiting for. They were looking to see if they could scope him up without giving up anything and Masai knew this. We can’t afford to let anymore assets walk for nothing now that we’re in rebuild mode. The Knicks clearly want him and so does a few teams looking to compete and that can create bidding at the deadline. Some of these teams are looking at Brown as that glue guy to their championship push. Don’t fool yourself.

If the Raps don't take back a bad contract i doubt they get a 1st in return unless it's going to be one of the last of the 1st rounders. In that case, an early 2nd would be more valuable.
