Bains is gonna get a hatty
Raty scratched I’m assuming unless he wants to bench sprong…?
Sprong was buzzing last night. but he wasn’t exactly buzzing with any sort of direction.
on Saturday:
“General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Arshdeep Bains has been re-assigned to Abbotsford (AHL)”
then next week:
“General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Arshdeep Bains has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).”
Im guessing this may mean that Suter is back in the lineup, and Raty either sits or gets sent down.
Or aman is being scratched. Bains provides some dynamic X factor in the bottom six
We don’t have to send anyone down do we?
I assume this means Suter is good to go
I hope he’s picked his game up, last seasons look wasn’t impressive and pre season is a huge question mark
Hopefully no injuries happened
MAKING IT RAIN ITS ARSHDEEP BAINS
you bum
Bains is legit, give him a spot!
I think Bains and Suter will be in Friday and Raty and Sprong out. Sherwood will move up to Peteys line.
After a game with zero structure at least Bains knows Tocchet’s systems.
And although benching Sprong would be a mighty short leash, the team isn’t about making Sprong happy. Coughing up a 3 goal lead is pre-Tocchet era, totally unacceptable (I assume), and to send a message Sprong might get benched right off the bat.
Frankly part of the reason the team had success last season was because Tocchet kept them honest by benching fan favorite Kuzmenko. An old school coach likes to keep a whipping boy handy and Sprong might have been picked up in part to potentially be just that, at a fraction of the price of Kuzmenko. It’s not a country club, Rutherford’s words.
Benching Raty sends a different message that a rookie is not allowed to make mistakes. He doesn’t deserve to feel like he’s being blamed for blowing a huge lead whereas Sprong has a reputation for poor defensive effort, gently waving his stick at opponents holding the puck.
Scores a goal. Gets benched anyways. It sends a message.
Get Suter to play on the wing with Petey and Debrusk.
Bains in for Raty.
Wonder if they’re largely calling him up so that he’s ready to travel with the team after tomorrow’s game…
man i don’t know why everyone here likes Bains…kids over rated, is a floater and just sucks. there is a reason no one wanted him.
