  1. this team was supposed to make up for the mariners disappointing season but so far it has not looked great, but at the end of the day 3-3 through 6 weeks isn’t terrible with 3 rookie coaches and all of our injuries, i hope this coaching staff figures it out soon because the potential is there, learn from your mistakes and show progress from week to week and the wins will come.

  2. Giving up early season division leads seems to be the name of the game this year. ‘cries in mariner’

  3. Highlight of the game was Geno “what the fuck y’all doing?!?” at the very end.

    Pathetic effort overall

  4. Team is regressing and finding new ways to lose each week. Absolute embarrassment. Coaches and players slept through preparing for the Giants and came up with this fucking bullshit. Zero positives with this team so far.

  5. We cant aspire to anything if we cant beat our divisional opponents. And it is more than clear that we are miles away from defeating the 49ers. I cant even remembre the last time that we actually did it. They can plug and play a 6th stringers RB and he will play better than ours. It is because they are a proper unit. Not mistake free, but they know what to do and are not afraid to exploit our weak points.

In a comparison with the last game, against the Giants, we got some slack from the refs and still were behind the score for the majority of time. And, to be fair to both the Giants and the 49ers, they deserved to be in front. The scores might suggest otherwise, but watching both games you can see a pattern that it damning for us.

Moreover, it’s the 6th game and I dont feel like we are improving in any dimension of the game. On offense we cant sustain drives, the running game is hit a miss and the OLine is usually playing against us. On defense we are still being destroyed in the middle, cannot generate pressure and cant force turnovers.

To top it off, Geno decided that today would be a great day to play like Jets Geno.

3-3 and a long road ahead. We once had a 2 game lead in the Division and now we are tied. In about 4 weeks we might be in 3rd if Arizona continues to improve.

Some people said I was insane for not putting us as a top5 team when we were 3-0. Some people complained when I said our defense was getting humbled against the Lions. Perhaps now a lot of guys around here will actually notice that this team is just another poor team that with some luck can get a wildcard only to lose in the 1st round of the playoffs.

  6. 2.6 YPC on the ground and 3 turnovers to their 0, that’ll do it.

Plus any time we got momentum we never took advantage and gave it right back to them, same story as last week.

Thank god our 3 games in 11 days stretch is over now. Hope we can turn the page against the Falcons. At this point I’m keeping my expectations very low. We do not look like a very good team.

  7. Take away the return which was just individual brilliance and the call by the refs that went our way and this scoreline is more like 43-17

  8. Good news is: Everything wrong with this team is 100% fixable, to the offensive line, to shakey play calling, to missed assignments and tackling. Pretty excited for this team, genuinely. Give it a year or two and this team will be much much much much much better. Be patient, give our coach time to genuinely show he has it or not. 6 games isn’t enough time to make a long term decisions, lets go hawks!

  9. There’s so much holes on this team idk where to even start.

A winning record seems like a pipe dream. Macdonald has looked outclassed 3 weeks in a row and some serious questions have to be asked about Schneider because there’s zero excuses for this roster construction. Same issues for a fucking decade running.

Also Geno missed so many fucking reads he might as well be Stevie Wonder.

  10. First 3 games got me ngl. But we’re a garbage ass team so I need to stop expecting us to be good

  11. I’ve defended John Schneider with my full chest, but I’m so frustrated right now I’d fire him tomorrow. 0-6 against SF is inexcusable. Our lack of talent at all three levels is criminal. Watching SF own our own stadium is fucking embarrassing

  12. That penalty that wiped away the long DK touchdown? That’s on coaching. Avoidable problems that happen because the details aren’t being coached.

  13. Idk why we weren’t chipping Bosa more often.

This was Geno’s worst game of the season.

I really hope Haynes develops into a good guard. It will be frustrating if he’s mid while Puni is good.

  14. I had this team going 9-8 at best. But I don’t know if there is a team left on our schedule that we can beat.

Seems like we have been the same team for a near decade now. Super slow start. Defense is nonexistent. Then do just enough to make it look like we are competitive only to repeat next week.

  15. Under 2 minutes. A chance to win if you get one stop. Everyone knows they’re gonna run. **They run for 70 yards.**

Now you’re in the red zone and we all know they’re gonna keep running. **They run up the middle. They score a TD.**

    *Just a pathetic, pathetic defense.*

  16. Offense sucked

    Defense sucked

    Special teams sucked

-3 on turnover differential, shoulda been -4

We might be an ass team boys.

  17. No turnovers forced.

    No sacks.

A special teams fumble, (really probably two).

Geno sucked, but don’t blame tonight solely on him.

  18. Geno played atrocious. Solid start to his season, by far his worst game in a long time.

LB play is unacceptable and a trade has to happen ASAP if they want to have some sort of functional defense.

the OL needs 3-4 new starters next year.

Don’t want to hear any mushy positives from this clown car after today. Been BULLIED for 3 straight weeks now and accountability needs to happen.

  19. I’m just going to wait for Murphy to come back and see if that fixes anything since teams tended to double team him, yes i’m depending on a rookie to fix the DL

  20. Macdonald’s system cannot function without good LB’s. We saw his defense struggle in Baltimore for the first half of the season until they traded for Roquan. Either he needs to shift what he does or a trade needs to be made.

Geno was off tonight. Made some uncharacteristic bad throws. He shouldn’t be throwing it 52 times in a game, Grubb needs to learn how to get a run game going. 52 yards when your RB’s are K9 and Charb is unacceptable.

Macdonald is a rookie coach. Most coaches struggle in their first years. We’ll see how he’ll address all these issues and it’s imperative that he keeps morale up.

  21. I’d rather have Kyle Shanahan rubs his balls on my drum set than have another 49er do the Lumen leap

  22. I think we wildly overestimated the defense in the 3-0 stretch. If Miami had tua we probably would have been cooked. And i think the Bo Nix of today beats this team.

Macdonald can only do so much with the talent that was handed to him. And clearly we have holes everywhere not named WR or RB.

  23. I just wish Mac would fix like ONE thing this year. Give this team an identity please. Cus right now it doesn’t have one. Make us a team that runs the ball well. Make us a good play action team. Make us a team with a sneaky/ feisty defense. Make us a team that gives our division opponents a cause for pause. Right now this team is nothing. There is no identity or consistency. It leaves us fans constantly wondering what this is. It’s a frustrating product to watch when from one week to another you have no idea what you’re going to get and it’s even more frustrating when it feels like the team is creating more questions than answers. I think what’s happened is not all that surprising in the grand scheme of things but by the end of the year we have to have some answers and we have to at the very least understand what direction this team is going in.

  24. We over committed on rushing, to the point it was predictable.

Geno was definitely off that game

OLine wasn’t good, even if they only allowed 1 sack.

    WRs were ok

Jay Harbaugh is fucking awful, our special teams has been straight dogshit this season.

Our defense takes the worst angles, especially pass rushing.

We play 10 yards off the ball on 3rd and shorts

And our run defense is still an absolute embarrassment.
We need Murphy to come back at this point.

    Also injuries still killing us

  25. Genuinely can’t see us winning for another month, the games don’t get easier.

    Buffalo will kill us.
Rams always beat us as of recently
Niners again ago again, always, always beat us,
    Atlanta who will beat us.

  26. The one benefit is we don’t have to watch them on Sunday this week!!! We all win there.

  27. Seahawks watched the Mariners blow that 10 game lead earlier this year and really said “hold my beer”

  28. Make no mistake, had Mason not left the game injured, we would have lost this game by 20+ points.

  29. The bad: sloppy, undisciplined, a lot of shoot yourself in the foot mistakes. This game was absolutely winnable if either side had things together. geno had a yikes-y game. Personally, I think we should’ve gone for it at the end of the first half.

The good: long break coming up to rest and get healthy, hopefully get the team on the same page. Most importantly, the guys kept fighting and didn’t give up. We were at one point down by 20, but got to within one score- we’re not ready for the mountain yet, but there’s promise here!

Honestly, there’s probably few more losses like this before they start turning into wins, whether that’s this year or next year. New team, new system, new coach.

  30. I said it earlier in the week. You cannot pay Geno 40-50 million and DK another 30-35 million. I don’t know what they SHOULD do but that not it. It’s a setup to have a 8-9 ceiling every single year. 2 more losses in a row and they should absolutely have a look at Howell for the rest of the year.

  31. You keep hearing that they’re drafting college captains, high character guys, bad-asses like Spoon, but this team looks the softest it’s been since the Jim Mora year. I have no clue who the leaders on this team are supposed to be.

  32. I’m glad we got our 3 losses of the season out of the way, now let’s rest our guys and get back to our winning ways!

  33. Goff: Perfect Game

Daniel Jones: Looked like a Pro-Bowler out there, up and down the field at will

Purdy: Longest TD of his career

Seahawks: 3 Ls, No takeaways, were there even any sacks? Teams are constantly throwing it right at the first down marker and we let them do it again and again and again.

Injuries aren’t an excuse anymore. This D sucks.

  34. This shit sucks but still 3-3 and long season left… idk if that’s a good or bad thing tho lol

  35. This is year 2 or 3 of a defense that CANNOT create turnovers consistently. The DB’s have been so soft for years. It’s always, pray the D line gets pressure, let them catch the ball and try tackle. That shit doesn’t work. Use some instincts. Jump some routes. I thought spoon was supposed to have elite instincts? Dude is a JAG in this system.

Do better or no free agent worth a damn will even think of coming here

  36. Purdy just said “it was like we were playing as the home team”…. Man that cuts deep.

  37. 1. Not many NFL teams will win with a -3 turnover ratio.

    2. It’s not Forsythe’s fault he’s our best RT.

  38. It feels so close, like clean up a few things then suddenly were a hot team again. The team also feels very flat, almost tentative in their approach. To me this falls on team preparation and planning. Let’s see if this coaching staff can come together.

  39. This is what we all wanted. There’s going to be growing pains moving on from a HOF coach, people. This is a fucking first year coaching staff and a bunch of players who we signed off the practice squad. The first three games were over-performances, and this is our baseline. We deluded ourselves with false hope due to the over-performances. It happens. The guys are the guys though, calling for firing the entire front office and coaching staff after 6 games is fucking gutless panic and y’all know it lmao.

  40. Not many positives but I thought the O-Line played well in the pass game….. Not that easy to contain Bosa…..

  41. This is a badly coached team. You know it when you see it and you guys are watching it. We were one of the best coached teams for 14 years and got rid of that and are now a badly coached team.
