  1. Just remember Aaron Rodgers got exactly what he said he wanted in Green Bay. He got control of the team, a say in all the decisions and free agents etc. And now that he got that control the team is 2-3 and drastically underperforming for how talented the roster is, the offense is terrible, the head coach was just fired and now his buddy Nat Hackett was demoted. If you want that much control over a team as a QB you better be playing elite football, but Rodgers has been really bad so far. What a mess.

  2. AR is a cancer and the reason this team is a mess. If he wanted Saleh to remain head coach, it would have happened. The problem is that he's got a huge ego and he's not nearly as good as he thinks he is.

  3. I think people are giving up the Jets WAY too early. Yes, Rodgers is a diva. But 1./ While it's an unjustified firing, Saleh is not an NFL HC. 2. Jets still have the best defense, probably in the league. 3./ Win Monday, they are in 1st place. Yes, get on Rodgers. But this team is not dead. You are all going too far as that.

  4. Where are all the people who were prasing Riodgers and Hackett after the PATROIT game ( not a good team ) `Dowling is no great shakes per is record all be it brief as OC with Tenn and Oaklans and as a passing coach of the Jets receivers have not been open always tight throws last year as well as well i like ti think this would help but i doubt it remember Rodgers VP awards were with Mc Carthy and LaFleur calling plays and play design not Rodgers or Hackett Hackett was the GASE to Manning

  5. The fact that Hackett is still THERE is more of a testament that Rodgers pulled some strings. Simply because WHY else would Hackett even still be in the room??? Why even have him BE there?! Because otherwise he’d just be fired

  6. Rogers was always a good QB, maybe even a very good one, on occasions, but he was never elite and never a leader. Over rated covers it. League MVP is a vote restricted to the sports media, it doesn't count for much,. Conference Championships and SB rings are the standard. He doesn't come close to making that cut.

  7. The talking heads acting like Saleh getting fired is comparable to Tom Landry getting fired. The guy was 20-36 as a HC. Yes, week 5 is early but its Woody Johnson, that's all you need to know. They are probably going to play better this week, they will rally behind the Interim HC which is very common. They are playing for 1st place surprisingly for how bad they are. So , no Rodney they are NOT a mess considering the situation.

  8. Rodgers: Or you could hold them accountable (backstabber speech for “saleh ain’t doing his job”). Just to be clear it wasn’t my fault. And I had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Saleh getting fired.

  9. Anytime the owner or a coach speaks since this firing it’s infuriating because everything they say just sounds like they are pulling my leg. “ it wasn’t an easy decision”, I thought long and hard about it”, it all just sounds like BŠ at every turn.
