This is almost a more interesting story than anything else this season just because everyone has been so absolutely tight lipped about it.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not advocating for any kind of obligation for the public to know his business. But my natural curiosity takes over. I don’t recall anything like this.
He is 23, this must be some serious shit. Glad the franchise is doing their part and supporting the players this way. The Raiders are not required to pay Mayer’s salary while he is out, but they can opt to do so. Let’s hope they do!!!
