I got back into baseball and decided to ride with the cubs and Yankees due to my parents. Was this a good jersey to pick up for next spring?

Was this a good jersey to pick out for next season? I plan on returning to wrigley with my fiancee!

I’ve been thinking about that one, or the Wrigleyville one. I’ll wait and see if it has a good deal on black friday
As a Japanophile this jersey speaks to my heart.
I fully approve.
Absolutely!
Safest bets are retired played. Shota had a great season for what it’s worth.
Sosa, banks, santo, wood (played half a season wirh the Yankees), prior, zambrano, Williams, sandberg, grace, maddox
Rizzo is an active player beloved by both Yankees and cubs fans. Though probably more cubs fans. Likewise any key player from 2016 baez, hendricks, Lester, bryant, arietta, Ross, Schwarber. Chapman is another cross Yankee cubs, but the domestic abuse maybe doesn’t warrant a jersey. But the cubs absolutely don’t make let alone win the world series without him.
Gossage also played a season with the cubs but is most known for his time with the Yankees.
FWIW you don’t need a jersey to be into baseball or a fan of a team.
I’d either wait for a revamped (hopefully fixed) jersey template for the 2025 to be released or pick up a used Majestic or pre-2023 Nike jersey on eBay or even MLB dot com clearance.
Don’t overspend on these tissue paper jerseys available now.
Oh 100%. The Imanaga jersey is great
Hell yes!
Does anyone know of a place that sells Shotas shirt jersey, but with this kanji on the back?
Nice
I had a Fukudome one back in the day
Absolutely
Would be a great one! Have my eye on it too. It’s a great price right now.
Absolutely. Well done
Yeah that’s sick
yes yes yes
I wouldn’t buy any jersey from the team store or from fanatics or any official source. The chinese jerseys are a tenth the price and the same or better quality.
That’s going on the Christmas list
Mike Imanaga II is probably my favorite player on the roster right now because he is awesome, so yes.
I’d buy that
You could just be a fan, you ain’t gotta spend that dough
I started watching the Cubs on my own because my dad was a huge fan. I waited until I got really into it and had a favorite player, then got their jersey. (We miss you Rizzo)
