  1. Fantasy football players are the most toxic breed I’ve ever encountered. Worse than Packers and Buckeye fans

  2. This is my first year not playing fantasy in 10 years, and I love it. Still bet on games but I could never imagine getting so mad I would confront a player in anyway.

Allow myself to get angry/maybe call out a player during a game for a bad play (who doesn’t). But when it’s over we all have lives to live. If a player’s performance affected you to the point of threats you should probably stop watching

  3. Trying to avoid fantasy football and sports gambling is becoming increasingly difficult. With so many shows and podcasts being invaded by this nonsense.

I personally don’t care who you start in your flex spot, or if Tua’s tragic situation has doomed your fantasy team. I don’t believe the players and coaches do either.

These are human beings, playing a difficult and dangerous game. I enjoy watching them play. Imagine trying to cheer for the Lions, but having some stake in who posts individual stats for or against “your team.” Sounds miserable. “I hope the Lions can cash in on this red zone trip, as long as it isn’t Jahmyr Gibbs, because he is playing against me this week. Oh man, Gibbs scored, Lions win, what a bummer!”

No thank you. Please keep this fantasy nonsense as far away from the players as possible. Just because some dude is on your fantasy roster, it doesn’t mean you own him.

This is why I find the “Moving the chains” show with Pat Kerwin and Jim Miller on Sirius/XM so refreshing. They talk FOOTBALL. I have never heard them entertaining a caller’s fantasy football question.
