I’m sure “I’ll keep that in-house” means he is perfectly fine with Nabers attending the concert against recommendations and there is nothing at all to this.
Regardless or how Daboll feels this is absolutely the correct answer. If he says he doesn’t care “look at the preferential treatment the star rookie gets!” If he says he does care “look how he’s throwing his own player under the bus!”
Keeping it “in-house” is exactly how to handle it.
Just did a quick Google search about attending concerts if experiencing concussion symptoms. The few I saw said absolutely not. They can increase symptoms.
OMG, only in NY is this a big deal
this is weird. let the kid live his life
There is some full on denial going on here, obviously he still has symptoms to some degree and going to the place with probably the brightest lights and loudest noises you could realistically go to isn’t exactly doing everything you can to help your recovery. Of course Daboll is unhappy lol
A 21 year old with money did an activity that put nobody in harms way. Who the hell cares? At the end of the day hes just a guy if he wants to go to a concert even if he shouldnt thats his choice to make
If he good enough to go to a concert that’s good sign.
Pretty sure I saw Dan Duggan trying to bait Jones into commenting on his home/away splits and trying to drive a narrative. This is just run of the mill shit stirring, nothing more.
Was at the concert and it was definitely not the place you want to be with a concussion, sucks but he’s a 21 year old I would’ve probably done the same thing especially 10 days off if getting it
I gotta tell you, going to a concert is literally one of the worst things you can do recovering from that. Bass and loud sounds rock your ear drums and your brain in the process
I’m already over all this…. He’ll be back next week and in the meantime let’s hope for the best this Sunday
Chill guys he’s just trying to help us draft a qb.
Shit is stupid, who cares if he went to a concert
Can we just be real about this a second? Two weeks for CONCUSSION recovery completely fair. The concert is irrelevant.
I wouldn’t be surprised if someday we see it being a rule that concussion = automatic two week concussion IR or something. These dudes need to protect their brains.
He probably bought the tickets long before the concussion. Regardless of the science behind whether it could hinder his recovery or not, it isn’t a great look. I don’t personally care unless it becomes a pattern of not making smart decisions like this. But for right now he’s a young man, I know I didn’t make the most sound choices at that age, hopefully he learns from it.
This story is so fucking stupid. I had a horrible concussion when I was 21 and the reality is you have good days and bad. On good days I could be at loud bars. On bad days the sound of my professor speaking made me want to cry with pain.
Leave the guy alone. He has the right to go to a damn concert.
First Trey Songz on the boat with OBJ, now Travis Scott concerts with Nabers? He is DESTINED for greatness!
