This is the Raiders trying to get the 2nd round pick they want and/or for team to take on all of his salary. If thos doesn’t push a team then they are likely to negotiate a bit more. Hopefully no interested gms get too nervous by this.
Why is it every negotiation that involves the Jets drags on FOREVER??
lol This is Schefter doing the bidding of his front office sources and being used (happily and willingly). There’s no fucking way, even if they don’t get the haul they want by the deadline. If the Raiders don’t trade him, he’s gonna be cut because he’ll have no guaranteed money and there’s no way the Raiders are gonna take that cap hit. So, either the Raiders are willing to pay Adams $1 million a game to sit and nurse a “hamstring” the rest of the season, only to cut him for nothing. Or….well wait, it is Mark Davis running the show. Nevermind, this is entirely plausible.
