  1. Cody scored more points by having more shots, so that’s a W. He makes Brandon Ingram look like David Robinson, but if Cody gains muscle, and better ball handling abilities, he might have the star potential he was drafted for in his prime

  2. Collin sexton need to run point for this team for many reason. Tonight’s game proved how it’s important to have a guy like him at that spot, the young guys looked so much better in my opinion because they had a leader to follow . On top of the fact sexton has a willingness to get them involved and they got quality shots . It wasn’t a bunch of young guys throwing up shots or playing confused they played with intention and focus despite common rookie mistakes.

  3. I agree with you u/Lazy_Variety to a degree about Sexton. He can run the show but he’s not as quick a processor as you’d ideally want from a PG consistently. But he can run an offense a bit and he did a nice job utilizing Kessler as a screener, which is something Keyonte does not do consistently.

However things looked way worse when he didn’t have another ballhandler on the floor with him. He looked good when Svi was next to him. Some of that isn’t on him but think when he’s the one with all playmaking responsibilities we can start to see the offense start losing structure. Sexton can pass but he’s not the highest leverage playmaker or what I’d call an elite conductor of an offense.

I actually feel like Keyonte has a higher scale of passing talent in him but it’s still raw.

  4. I am so excited for the tank this year. These kids aren’t gonna be all-stars right out of the gate but they’ve all got something worth watching.
