  1. I hope people read the piece because it’s actually about every upcoming roster difference. It was also an interview with Xander who has notably this postseason had the wisest things to say about the journey that was ahead of them.

  2. I get worried that with Peter’s passing the team will go back to their old cheap ways. Hopefully they pay him. Hopefully they give Preller the money he needs to reconstruct this roster. I don’t think signing Snell to a massive deal is the answer, but if he works with us it could work out.

  3. A ton of us cheered for him as he left the ballpark, after the team returned from LA.

Plus a ton more cheered for him during pre-game line ups.

I just hope he feels appreciated enough to stay in town.

  4. He’s said before he would like to manage a team someday. Not sure if that is in the works for him.

    Guess we see soon enough.

  5. We need to sign this man, his son is a pitcher and imagine the unlimited coaching he gets. Preller has to think of the bigger picture here

  6. We need to bring back this exact same team which includes coaches, trainers, execs… I want to see them take another run at the WS.

  7. Statue contract. He’s been utterly integral to our success.

Reading between the lines, I don’t expect him to want to leave, but he deserves the keys to the city and I hope the front office recognizes that and makes an appropriate offer.
