  1. Hey look at it this way. We are getting their old manager who built the team to get them this far. This may be us next year or the year after.

  2. I’ve kinda been a partial Cleveland fan as my brother grew up there. Redlegs forever though.

I read into the whole “Cincinnati is in Kentucky” shirt, and was kinda upset by it.

Then I realized that the ownership and management sucks here, and in the end it’s baseball. The last owner of our baseball team that won a World Series died 20 years ago.
I went over to the Guardians page and read into the shirts and shoot, it doesn’t seem like that big of a deal as it was over here in this sub.
But hey, maybe that celebration for beating a not great Reds team on top of not winning a World Series since 1954 is tough. 70 years will get you. I mean, those fans have waited twice as long!

I’m gonna root for the Cleveland Baseball team and The Mets in the NL as they are my GF’s families team.

    Go baseball!

  3. I’m definitely rooting for Cleveland. My dad was a Reds fan who recently passed away at 92 – waited 30+ years and never saw another World Series win. My mom grew up a Cleveland fan and is hanging on at 90, so I’d love to see her experience a World Series victory.

  4. I would never root for any Cleveland sports team. Don’t care if it’s close, same state, or any of that. If I can’t root against them I’ll just not watch.
